Supply of gate valves for the Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant
Concern "SouzEnergo" has supplied butterfly valves for the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant, which is a separate division of the national enterprise NNEGC "Energoatom".
Since 2009 Concern "SouzEnergo" has been a leading manufacturer and vendor of valves for thermal and nuclear power plants. In 2012 the concern passed the regular audit and got a decision on the approval of the supplier of NNEGC "Energoatom". On August 21, 2015 the Concern extended validity period of the approval for a further 3 years.
Butterfly valves are the most common and widely used pipeline fittings around the world. Their low construction lengths, low installation and maintenance costs, as well as high reliability and tightness make them an ideal solution for most piping systems and pipelines.

Khmelnytskyi NPP is Ukrainian NPP located in Netishyn, Khmelnytskyi region. The main purpose of the NPP is to cover the lack of electric power in western Ukraine. Khmelnytskyi NPP operates two nuclear power generating units with a rated capacity of 1000 MW each.
For several last years the NPP has been producing about $ 7 billions KWh of electricity per year (what makes 9% of the total electricity generation of Ukrainian NPPs). The number of employees exceeds 5000 persons.
Khmelnytskyi NPP is the largest enterprise of Khmelnytskyi region, which annually provides about 50% of the regional budget revenues.
Khmelnytskyi NPP together with Zaporizhzhya NPP, South-Ukrainian NPP and Rivne NPP are parts of the NNEGC "Energoatom" company.
