Purpose :
Steam coolers are used to reduce steam temperature and pressure in pressure-reducing stations of thermal plant process lines. They are the components of fast-response pressure-reducing and desuperheating stations.
Steam coolers can be equipped with one or more throttle grids that finally reduce the steam temperature. At the same time these grids are anti-hum reducing noise level during steam expansion in coller. Cooling water injects using spray devices - nozzles (рic. 1, 3) and spray nozzles (рic. 2).
Connection to pipeline – by welding.
Installation position – horizontal or vertical.
Operating medium flow – in the direction of the body indicator.
Ambient class – У3 according to GOST 15150-69.
